Grillie Spinach and Garlic

Grillie Spinach and Garlic

Grillied spinach and garlic. You can now grill spinach and garlic using the Grillie. The taste is amazing! Juicy, grilled and garlicky. The only way to cook spinach and it is so easy you will feel like you are cheating at the grill.

Pre-Heat Grill

  • Slice the garlic cloves into thin slices about an 1/8' thick. Fill the Grillie with spinach, alternating with the garlic slices so the garlic and spinach are mixed inside the Grillie. You can stuff the Grillie with a lb. of spinach. See picture. The Grillie can be filled to 100% with leafy greens. The greens will cook down. In the picture are two Grillies one with spinach and the other with cubed eggplant and garlic. Now that we can grill garlic we just love to cook with garlic!
  • Put Grillie(s) on grill and spray the spinach with a liberal coating of olive oil. Turn and spray until the entire Grillie basket of spinach is coated. Turn every 3-4 minutes. Cook on grill for about 10-12 minutes or until the spinach is cooked down (about half full Grillie).
